River is inspired by Toronto's ravines, where hills, riverbeds, trees, and winding paths come together to create one interconnected landscape. This collection explores the quiet beauty of nature and the sense of calm, balance, and wonder it brings. It is a reflection of the forms and textures that feel perfectly imperfect—always changing, yet always connected.

The piece is handcrafted from papier-mâché using an experimental material process that embraces discovery and unexpected results. Its flowing form mirrors the continuous rhythm of the ravine network, where each curve naturally leads to the next. Rather than recreating nature, River captures the feeling of moving through it, inviting the viewer to slow down, look closer, and discover something new from every angle.
