Inspired by the Iranian novel Kelidar by Mahmoud Dowlatabadi, this work draws from the epic story of a Kurdish family whose struggle for survival, dignity, and love unfolds against a backdrop of oppression and political upheaval.
Healing explores the quiet act of self-restoration. Created through a period of emotional contraction, it brings together love and anger, grief and hope, fragility and strength within a single form. Rather than concealing our wounds, the piece embraces them, suggesting that healing begins when we meet ourselves with compassion.
